What Does Heaven Look Like?
Bill Walker
missourisage@yahoo.com

What does Heaven look like? Read your Bible, you will maybe get a
small look at this place called Heaven. Genesis, the first chapter,
God made a perfect world. He made the earth, the sun, the stars, the
moon, all the green and growing trees, the grass, the foods that grew
from the earth. He also made each and every animal, he then made
man, He did all this in 6 days, and on the 7th day he rested. He
looked at all he had made, he was happy and well pleased with what he
had here. In the next chapter, we get the information on the Garden of
Eden. He, God made a perfect home for man. There was in this
garden many fruits, many crops growing, food for man and  Eve to
enjoy. All the animals enjoyed a life of peace, Mama Lion could have her
children, and if Eve and Adam had done as God told them, all could live
together. Adam and Eve, their children could play with Mama Lions
children. That was the plan that God wanted. Heaven on earth.
A garden of plenty, fruits, vegetables, a land of grains. Man was to
eat of these, also all animals was to eat of these things. All was to
live together, there was no plan of death or killing. Then along
came Satan. Satan paints a different picture, and man heard him loud
and clear. Man liked the lies Satan told, much better then the truth
as told by God. Heaven on earth ended right there.
Now then read Isaiah, chapter 11. I believe if you read verse 6, 7,
8, you might get an idea of the new Heaven. There will be peace in
the valley, and on the mountain. It is called the Holy Mountain.
There will be no more killing, death. All animals and man will live
with one another. What God intended the Garden of Edan to have
been. Satan will be no more. He and his Angels, and the ones that
never believed the truth, will be sent to the Lake of Fire to enjoy the
fruits of their labor.
While those that believed what God said, and his Son, Jesus paid the
price for, will live in the Mansion on the Hill Top. I believe Jesus
said he was leaving to go build your Manson. I don't believe he said a
flop house motel room.
We don't know really all of the beauty of Heaven, But I think if we
study the Bible, we do have a small idea of  how wonderful it must
be. We should know what the other place looks like. The Bible
tells us much about that place. But many  still hear what Satan
says. His place has the best golf courses, the best  flop house motel
rooms, the best of every thing, just come and give me a try. I will
make it so nice for you. And above all there is no place called Hell,
God would never have made such a place, and sure don't mean to send no
one to such a place, if there was such a place. Satan sure is a good
political hack, should be running for President, heck he might even be
having a friend, or two or three, or more of his doing that. Satan
seems to always have friends in strange places. If you look hard you
might even find some that call themselves preachers or leaders of
some strange church belief. Many the Humble Man of about 2,000
years does not know. The Humble Man that walked, and at best rode a
Donkey to town. Can't you just see that Donkey in Heaven talking to the
other animals. "I gave the master a ride to town." Then there is the
Donkey, that Mary rode that night to the stable. I bet that is one
proud Donkey also. Yes I believe there will be animals in Heaven, the
Bible tells me so.

SIGH

Dr. Harmander Singh

"Please do not cry,” I requested him.

"...,” he kept on crying.

"Please accept life as it's,” I requested again.

"What wrong have I done?” he said and started crying.

"Life is like that.” I tried to console.

"What do you expect for me? Am I emotionless?” he stopped crying.

"My Dear, subjectively everyone is emotional but objectively there are few people who are emotional,” I suggested without know what I was saying.

"What do you mean?” he asked me.

"I mean for our selves we're emotional when somebody hurts me I feeling it and cry or feel it with great intensity but when I behave like a hard hearted person I do not bother because it fulfils some of my desires which satisfy my emotions. Is not it an irony of life?” I said with sentiments of sorrow.

"You’re right, but how long can I live with being nice to others when they respond what seems hard hearted to me ?,” he questioned me.

"I can understand you. Please try to live higher than being subjective and objective,” I said.

My Dear, I've always tried what do you think?" I always tried to put my feet in other's shoes to keep the harmony between subjective and objective side of emotions,” he said and took a sigh.

“...,” I always sighed when he sighed because words have their meanings, which become silent and speak only through sigh.

Daily Moral Insight for a Peaceful Night

Is not a condition of helplessness a great reality to be accepted?

Is not it a great venture to feel the same experience of emotions for others as we feeling for ourselves?

Is not it a reality of life to accept the people and circumstances as they are?

Sin' it a feeling of consciousness when we sigh?

Is not it a thought of the wise ones to confine all sufferings of a human life to a sigh?

 A President's Day Afterthought

Cynthia Groopman

I am very concerned and dismayed, Very little is said or mentioned about the great impact upon our nation, our past presidents have made.

.

It seems that history is no longer lauded or taught.

Not many of the younger generations even give the exciting story of our nation's past a thought.

As a child, there were two special days to commemorate Lincoln and Washington and so many interesting history about them we did learn,

,

Now a long weekend, with sales and shopping, are what all seem to desire and yearn.

I praise the dedication and devotion of our past presidents and how our nation they did lead,

Their advice, actions and deeds, we must honor, follow and heed.

For upon a firm foundation, our nation, they did place,

Adversity, wars, hard times and inner strife, with strength and optimism, they did teach us to face.

Thus, all I can truly say,

Is to honor, respect, study about our presidents on this President's holiday day.

I Am In The Mood For Laughter

Cynthia Groopman

I am in the mood for laughter, as you can see,

Because my face is frowning dolefully.
Raindrops are pouring,
And time is dragging and the day is long and boring.
Loneliness is all around,
And I long for laughter's cheerful mirthful sound.
I am in the mood for laughter, and that need is so great,
And all I seem to do is sit around and ruminate.
So please laughter, come and put me in a joyful frame of mind,
So that the once happy part of myself, I can find.

 Knowledge
Cynthia Groopman

Knowledge is so important for us to gain,

So that we can successfully play and win life's exciting game.
Knowledge is not only acquired in formal education or in classes,
But it grows like a thriving tree, as time passes.
Knowledge is full of fun and fascination,
And enhances our minds and enlivens our imagination.
For knowledge is a precious gift for all of us to share,
And it is like a priceless jewel, so dear and rare.

Readers Feedback

Dear Carol:

I am truly blessed.  I have a cab driver who I can call (or his company) and he will pick me up at a scheduled time.  He is also available for the return trip.  I just call and wait for him.  Over 10 years I have never waited more than 25 minutes.  This is a city of over a million people and multiple cab companies.  He is so special.  He greets my husband, mother, daughter,or whoever rides in his cab with a smile.  He is always willing to lug my groceries with or without my husband's help to the door.

Frankly, Carol, I don't know what I would do without him.  The transit system here is complex with multiple connections just to go 1 mile.  I have spent 3 hours going to a destination when by car it is a half hour drive.

My husband and I have never had a driver's license or a car.

Our transit system keeps getting worse because we are sprawling out. The roads, highways, and interstate are decades out of date.

I always thank him and tip and tip and tip!!!  It isn't as expensive as where you live.  Our average is about $10-$12 one way.  At the most $20-22.  I always give him $2 to $3 for a tip.

He shares his cab with another driver who also is simply amazing.  There is nothing like the sense of security of seeing a face behind the wheel that you know you can trust.

Dear Carol:

This is really a coincidence!!

I have just sent in a questionnaire for possible jury duty (Federal Court) in the Fall of 2008 to Spring 2009.  I simply let them know I had health issues which would make jury duty a hardship for me.   These are real and not "made up".  I haven't heard anything more from them.

We have gangs here too.  Worse, innocent bystanders have been shot and killed.  One awful case was a young girl doing homework at her dining room table.  The bullet came through the wall from outside and killed her.

I too fear gangs.  The situation is getting out of control.

I have served on jury duty in the 1980's for my county.  It was for a shop lifting case.  The woman was fairly well off.  She would use old receipts to return new merchandise.

I saw her in the parking lot.  Carol, she was laughing like this was no big deal.

This is what gets me - she didn't care that she was caught or that 12 people had to give up their time at work and with their families to hear her case.

I was interviewed for a murder case but wasn't called.  It was because of my religious beliefs.  It was a relieve to not be called for exactly the reasons you stated.
