He, as the Western and I, as the Eastern Talk and Discuss-XII

Dr. Harmander Singh

“You see the appeals to the authority have no results. The authorities seem to have a great influence from the international business community, the professional, whose main aim is to earn money by any means. It seems a regretting for us, as the democracy may not be able to solve any global problem, no matter in whatever form. We have the pollution as the governing body owned by those, who seem to spread it helplessly, separating people from natural and the healthy life, is not it,” I say.

“Well, you see we cannot always claim that it does not matter, sometimes, I matters, is not it,” he says.

“Yaw, you see as a result of all of these incidents, the athlete is, my father, now bed ridden. He is having problems with heart and at the end of 2005 a paralytic kind of attack, the clot in the brain, though recovering,” I say.

“What a shame, you know I just wish we could accept it that after all we are humans, whether in the east or the west, is not it,” he says.

“I agree. You see he has served for more than three and half decades as a professor in the government college of education. His contribution is not just for home country,” I say.

“Well, you see, please do not mind it, you seem a silly kind person. Is not there anything that you can do?” he says.

“Please, do be so mean, we all are silly, when we face troubles, which we have not caused, is not it,” I say.

He gives a silly look and we smile as a child
