From my son Steven Roach:

I was thinking you should advertise the link regularly in your newsletter if the link doesn’t work just cut and paste

http://greenhorse.com/join_now.ghc?r=177952857

tell them it would help support the newsletter and they can earn money from it. They need to sign up and install it but they don't need to do anything else. They just do what they normally would anyways on the net and they earn money while it’s on. In other words they just keep it running while they are online. It’s small doesn't take up much system resources and they can earn more if they advertise their own link and get people under them as well. Let them know some people make 5-10$ a day on it and its been open since 2002.

Don’t forget to order your copy of Angels Watching Over Me, the story of an ordinary woman facing less than ordinary challenges.  Angels Watching Over Me is a story of family love, sacrifices, poverty and an undying faith that makes heroes out of all of us. Here is the link in case you have forgotten it: http://www.lulu.com/content/964306

Important notice: Storytime Tapestry is a free e-zine, however donations are always needed to help with the operating expenses of running the newsletter and to keep Storytime Tapestry the quality newsletter you are so accustomed to.   You can make your donations to paypal at: winterose@videotron.ca, or if you would prefer to use the mail system contact the publisher at the same email address: winterose@videotron.ca

Today’s Story

The Big Bang
Bill Walker
missourisage@yahoo.com

Some people think  if it is not in the Bible it didn't happen. I wonder
about. They like to use the Bible to prove all points. I believe
in God myself, and I do read his word. I also think, and ask
questions once in a while.

Scientists want to think a "big bang" started it all and to them I say,
"Okay then, who created the big bang?" A person asked this in some
other write up. Answer is simple if you read the Bible. People are
always asking this question. That is, the people who are always
waving the Bible, with some one liner.

If you believe in the Bible the answer is right in front of you.
GOD ordered up the Big Bang, if there was a Big BANG.

I believe if one takes the time to read, and study what is written in
many different places in the Bible, you are going to find out one
thing. With God, nothing is impossible. God can command something to
take place, and BANG it is done.

We do not under stand God's time table. This may be a problem with
any thinking. There are words that tell us this. What may be a day
to us, may be a minute to God. What may be a minute to God, might be
a life time for us. We do not know or understand the timetable of God.

One time many years ago I had the joy of talking to a very smart man on
the Bible. Dr.McCall, PhD on a few subjects, the Bible was one of
them. I asked one day about a few things. He said we do not or can
not fully understand some things. God has power we  humans cannot
understand. We figure in human terms, but not in what we do not
understand, which is the powers that we can not measure. There is no
limit to his power. Man has a limit. God does not need a committee to
order something done. God would like to have something done, he can
order it done, and BANG! it is taken care of. Does it take a day?
We are back to square one, we have no understanding of God's time table.

The Bible says in one day he did something. The thing is did it take
the whole day, one hour of the day, or one minute of the day?? He may
have ordered it, and it took one minute of one hour. He may have
looked at it the rest of the day, and thought about all he had done in
that one minute. We know he made every thing in 6 days, and  he
rested on the number 7 day.

Now we read, where men figured something is 10,000 year old, something
else is 100,000 years old. So what? It all goes back to how can we
figure God's timetable??

Now for all, lets understand one thing. I don't think for one minute,
things just happened. If it happened, it was God's will that caused
it to happen. Or he allowed it to happen. If you read your
Bible, the book of Job points that out very clearly. Satan had no
power over what happened to Job, if God hadn't allowed it. If you
read when Jesus went to the cross. Herod, Pilate, the whole army of
Rome, the high priests and all, had no power. Jesus could have asked,
and the army of Angels would have come on a dead run. And better think
that one over again. If Jesus  had said one word. one Angel would
have been all it took. Kind of like a Texas Ranger of old. A problem
with a crowd, send one Ranger. I am sure, the legions of Angels was
ready, able and willing to have marched that day. The armored tanks
was all ready to roll. The bombers was all loaded and fueled up. The
battleships was ready to sail. If Jesus would have said that one
word. All the armies, all the navies, all the air forces of all the
world, could not have lasted one minute against one Angel of God.

The Big BANG, I don't know if it was a Big BANG. It may have been a
very quite bang. To me it happened as God said in his Book of Books,
the Bible. My point is we are talking about something, that really
makes no difference. Like Dr. McCall said. Now this is deep, in
fact it is so deep, our little minds just can't measure how deep it is.

Let us move to other things written in the Bible. The important
things. Like do you believe, have you accepted Jesus, are you washed in
the BLOOD??? The things of the Bible that really are simple to
understand. People makes things hard, and that is the problem.
Jesus made it simple and people are still saying that they have to work
to get to Heaven? You can work till the end of time, all your works
does not count on getting to Heaven. Jesus bought, and paid your
ticket on the Glory Train. All your money, gold, silver and also good
works, can't buy a ticket on the Glory Train. That ticket was paid
for by the BLOOD of JESUS. Nothing but the BLOOD.

A Special Place In My Heart

Cynthia Groopman

There is a special place in my heart,
Where I am enveloped into friendship's loving embrace.
There is a special place in my heart,
Where jubilation enriches my life as joy and gladness friends so dearly impart.
There is a special place in my heart,
Where goodness and kindness will forever reside,
Where bluebirds songs of happiness and rainbows hopeful promises
,
Will be by my side.
There is a place in my heart where goodness and kindness will forever reside,
Where the lion of war's hatred and devastation God will tame.
There is a special place in my heart,
Where the sweet fragrance of flowers will bloom,
Where there is the warmth of the glowing sunshine,
And the reassuring soft light of the silvery moon.
There is a special place in my heart for affection of everything great and small,
And for words of praise for the Lord God who created and blessed them all.
There is a special place in my heart for loved ones whom I cherish so dear,
And for their consolation and tender comforting caress,
When my heart trembles with fright and fear.

It was God's Voice, I Heard

Cynthia Groopman

When I was in bed last night,

My heart was heavy and my soul was filled with anxiety and fright.

Many thoughts  were floating in my mind,

A solution to problems of life, I was unable to find.

Finally, I fell asleep,

a slumber so necessary and deep.

When, I did awake, I began to pray,

Then suddenly, thunder and

In the roaring thunder, it was the voice of God, that was heard,

He reassured me with His comforting soothing words.

have no fear and do not be dismayed, to me, He lovingly said,

Thoughts of happiness will now dance in your head.

Do not worry about your problems, and leave it to God to solve,

God gave me strength, courage and a new spirit with lightning did come my way.

enthusiasm and resolve.
