From my son Steven Roach:

I was thinking you should advertise the link regularly in your newsletter if the link doesn’t work just cut and paste

http://greenhorse.com/join_now.ghc?r=177952857

tell them it would help support the newsletter and they can earn money from it. They need to sign up and install it but they don't need to do anything else. They just do what they normally would anyways on the net and they earn money while it’s on. In other words they just keep it running while they are online. It’s small doesn't take up much system resources and they can earn more if they advertise their own link and get people under them as well. Let them know some people make 5-10$ a day on it and its been open since 2002.

Don’t forget to order your copy of Angels Watching Over Me, the story of an ordinary woman facing less than ordinary challenges.  Angels Watching Over Me is a story of family love, sacrifices, poverty and an undying faith that makes heroes out of all of us. Here is the link in case you have forgotten it: http://www.lulu.com/content/964306

Important notice: Storytime Tapestry is a free e-zine, however donations are always needed to help with the operating expenses of running the newsletter and to keep Storytime Tapestry the quality newsletter you are so accustomed to.   You can make your donations to paypal at: winterose@videotron.ca, or if you would prefer to use the mail system contact the publisher at the same email address: winterose@videotron.ca

Today’s Story

 We The People
Bill Walker
missourisage@yahoo.com

This may be short and not so sweet. It may be a bitter and super
sized pill to take down the hatch. I am talking about the size of the
word. "WE." You can throw in "The People' for good measure.

We The People read, but do we read and think about what we are
reading? I hear this in churches, and else where. " Our troubles
come about because we removed God from public schools."

People have always wanted the cake, and eat it too. The problem is,
if you eat the cake, you no longer have the cake. It is a well known
fact, the cake does taste so good in the mouth, but once it traveled
down the hatch, you no longer have the taste. Just the memory of how
good it looked, and how good it did taste in the chopper.

You say what has this got to do with "We The People? " May I ask have
you read the Constitution, the Bill of Rights? Do you understand what
you read? Do you remember the men of old who fought to give you these
papers, and what they
were thinking in days of old?

First lets look at nations, and countries, and lands controlled by a
church run government. Is it a more blessed nation, country, or land
then a nation with freedom of thought, of church belief? If what you
like is a church controlled school, pack your bags, and hit the road.
Our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, gives you and me the right to
not have a church run operation in public schools.

This "WE" stuff is not something new. "WE" did not just come of
late. That is the so called removing of God from public school or
government buildings. The real movement, if there is any removing of
God, was started back when those wise old men of the day kicked King
George and his gang back to dear old England.

Those wise old men of the times, knew what was wanted by, "WE THE
PEOPLE." Freedoms from many things. Freedom of religion was
one. How do you have freedom of religion? Well you do not allow
a church of any brand to run the government, nor do you allow
the government to run church matters.

Now I would like to ask one thing. I read this awhile back. A
little boy was asked a question, about where was God? If I remember
right the little fellow, who might be smarter than a lot of preachers,
said. "GOD IS EVERY WHERE." Now think what preachers says.
These preachers tell that God knows all things, a person, even his
thoughts about something, cannot escape without God knowing about
it. So don't tell me God has been removed from  public schools. If a
child can think, and God knows the thinking of said child, in yes a
public school. Just who removed God from public school?

I grant you, there is some things in public schools I do not like.
English, spelling, math, and other things. Let us remember one
thing, can't eat the cake, and still have the cake.
Remember, "WE THE PEOPLE" wanted freedom of religion even way back
there in 1776. And to have true freedom of religion, it is not taught
in public schools that is run by the government.

We The People is screamimg about the things taking place in schools.
The crimes done in Satans name, it is not the fact God is not there.
Remember Satan does walk this earth. Remember in your Bible, there are
many places of crazy people working with and doing the walk with Satan.
God allows things to happen. God gave you a brain, you do have
freedom to think about which road you will travel. We may have no
teaching of the Bible in public schools, and yes we may not have a
canned prayer in public schools. That is no reason to think God is
not there. I am sure like the little boy said. "God is every
where, and public schools, yes God is there too. I am sure when a test
paper is handed out, many prayers are thought. Might not be put out
on the loud speakers, but the prayer is said unheard by the child next
to the one saying it. But God heard it. God might smile and say, well my
child, you should have spent some time last evening in study of the
book, instead of watching TV. You had freedom to do the watching of TV,
study of the books,, and a little time reading your Bible, but you
picked the TV to watch.

In public schools, or whereever. You have the right to carry your
beliefs of whatever church with you, just don't force what ever brand
of religion onto others.

Alone In The Crowd

Conrad S. Cardinal

Some are alone , in the midst
of a crowd.
Alone with their thoughts, though
voices are loud.

Uneasy, different,  than those that
surround.
In a vacuum, no feeling , no sound.

Wondering why they feel this way.
How should I act, what should I say?

Wanting to brake out, join the fun.
At the same time, wanting to run.

A challenge to live this way.
Wanting to love, afraid to say.

Sound familiar, is this you?
I understand, I’ ve lived through
it too.

To beat the demon, realize we’ re
all the same.
Those that win, learn to play the
game.
