From my son Steven Roach:

I was thinking you should advertise the link regularly in your newsletter if the link doesn’t work just cut and paste

http://greenhorse.com/join_now.ghc?r=177952857

tell them it would help support the newsletter and they can earn money from it. They need to sign up and install it but they don't need to do anything else. They just do what they normally would anyways on the net and they earn money while it’s on. In other words they just keep it running while they are online. It’s small doesn't take up much system resources and they can earn more if they advertise their own link and get people under them as well. Let them know some people make 5-10$ a day on it and its been open since 2002.

Don’t forget to order your copy of Angels Watching Over Me, the story of an ordinary woman facing less than ordinary challenges.  Angels Watching Over Me is a story of family love, sacrifices, poverty and an undying faith that makes heroes out of all of us. Here is the link in case you have forgotten it: http://www.lulu.com/content/964306

Important notice: Storytime Tapestry is a free e-zine, however donations are always needed to help with the operating expenses of running the newsletter and to keep Storytime Tapestry the quality newsletter you are so accustomed to.   You can make your donations to paypal at: winterose@videotron.ca, or if you would prefer to use the mail system contact the publisher at the same email address: winterose@videotron.ca

Today’s Day Story

Rainbow Bridge Gang, Special Report. Eight Belles
Tink, Poo, and the Gang
tinkerpoo2000@yahoo.com

We were all sitting here, and up the lane came this beautiful horse. Now
Tinker just went wild, you know how he loved horses? He went
running as fast as his little legs would allow, and he came back riding
on this wonderful Filly.

We found out this is Eight Belles, a beautiful dark gray race horse.
And she is a prize winner, a winner of a number of races. She could
race with the best of them, and gave the boys a run for the money.

She ran the race today, the Derby, and came in second, beating out 18
of the boys, but she went down after crossing the finish line with both
front ankles broken. And the good doctors said there was nothing that
could be done, other then send her to Heaven.

Well she made the trip, and now we have a beautiful race horse to give
us little people a ride now and then. What a joy she will be, just
think of the stories she can tell, and the joy of a race horse ride now
and then. Yes Tink will share her with the rest.

We know the owners, the trainers, and many of the fans of horse racing
was sad to see this happen. It is like so many things that can
happen, don't forget life is a mystery at times. Things may be
going so good, then something happens. We see this at the Rainbow
Bridge, there is  many bad things that happened, that sent  many of us
here too early in a earth life.

Now us Little People will make sure she has the best of care, we
don't get too many race horses here, well most find their own group,
but we talked her into staying with our gang. Do you think Tink
had something to do with that? Sure he did, he loves horses, and he
knows a winner when he sees one.

Yes Eight Belles is home, and us little guys will make sure she gets an
apple and all the other goodies a horse likes, like a lump of sugar.

Tink said he got the first ride, and she laid down so he could get on
her back. She said she didn't mind, Tink you know, don't weigh much,
about 25 pounds, She said she could give the bigger ones a ride, like
Rowdy, Gus, Black Sam, Yellow Sam, Auggie, and the little guys, well
Cookie, Buttercup, and Charlie, Missy Blue, Ms.Doogie, Toby. and guess
some of them cats, Bijou, and Fluffy, Missy, well maybe a couple or
three of them at a time. Eight Belles,, said them cats better have
their nails checked,, she didn't need no cat claws on her back.

But that can wait, for a while,, we told her, just tell us the news, and
the stories of her races for now.

Oh we found out the main doctor was a fellow name of Bramlege. Poo
said he wondered if that was the same doctor he and I, Tink had for a
while. We got to thinking might be, but then we found out this
Bramlege is a some what older fellow, might be related to the one
we know.

What is the movie tonight? Well it is Eight Belles, comes home, a
prize race horse winner. A Filly that gave the boys a run for the money.

   My Mother's Smile

Cynthia Groopman

Oh, my mother's radiant sunshine smile,

Is the sacred eternal flame, lingering for more than awhile.

Sparkling brilliantly in my sky of life,

My mother's smile soothed sadness, anguish and strife.

As majestic as a rainbow after the storm,

My mother's smile had the promise of hope, as the new day was about to dawn.

As I would walk down life's difficult streets,

My mother's smile embraced me with a sweet caressable treat.

Days flew rapidly by,

Now, my mother's smile is kindled into my heart as I write this with a tear of deep loving affectionate longing, abiding in my eye.
