Blaine has some wonderful news she would like to share with everyone. http://www.twolittlemonkeys.org/MonkeyoftheMonth_July.htm I was excited and wanted to share this with
everyone. See the above link. My Granddaughter, Rowan, is
"Monkey of the Month" and her story is on here with pictures and how
they helped her at Shriners Hosptial in Philadelphia. It is amazing how
she has gone from an arm that was completely limp to where she is
now. The account is fairly long but it takes you through from beginning
to the present as to what happened with Rowan. We feel blessed
that God has brought her this far and she is a healthy, happy little girl. Thanks to all of you who have been
praying over the last four years you can definitely see results. How Great is our God!! Pam P.S. If anyone needs a t-shirt for kids or grandkids
the money will go straight to the brachial plexus team at Shriners to
help kids like Rowan. ) **** Call

Rosa
Conrad S. Cardinal Those of you
who have seen The Exorcist Have a pretty good idea of what happened when we met
Rosa. Before I continue let me share a couple of things with you. The Catholic
church for years had a position of exorcist. Perhaps it still does but it’s
rarely if ever spoken of. Also the Jewish religion has a ceremony which is
designed to exorcise a Dibic. An evil spirit that has taken over some ones
body. By the way I’m not sure of the spelling. I would also suspect that there
are similar things in many of the worlds religions. An American
Baptist minister called Rev. Reid and told him about a lady in his church that
had a very unique problem. When she looked into a mirror she saw an evil face
and she would cut at the face with a razorblade. Well we thought that
this person needed a physiatrist more than a preacher. But when called a
minister must respond and not judge but try to do what he can to help. Our first encounter was brutal, this
women, who wasn’t very large was almost impossible to hold on to. She cursed
and screamed in different voices, most seeming to be male. She threw up on the
sofa we were kneeling in front of and I was holding her arms so tightly that
there was blood coming out from between my fingers. The minister who had
contacted Jim was so frightened that he ran from the room. This prayer session
took three hours, we were exhausted when it was over. Each time Jim would stop
addressing the entity Rosa would stop fighting and become calm. As I remember
there were three more of these sessions before we felt she was alright.
Subsequent conversations with her pastor confirmed that she seemed to be doing
well. With
out a doubt this was the most harrowing experience of this kind I went
through. The feeling you get is one of fear and at the same time
exhilaration. Luckily there weren’t many of these types of encounters. I
don’t think I would’ve continued to help because of the pressure and confusing
feelings that came with each experience. In
any ministry there are many different types of situations you encounter and
people you must deal with. However a ministry like this brings with it many
more unique and interesting problems. There is such a diversified group of
folks, from different countries and religions with different customs. Most
ministers wouldn’t come in contact with these events we have discussed in their
entire life. ~**~**~ Poetry Corner ~**~**~ Hello Summer, Hello Cynthia
Groopman Hello
Summer, hello, , Our
hearts sing and dance with exquisite mirth as we
are dazzled by your smiling golden glow. With
open arms, we are enfolded into your cheerful embrace, As
you smile and sing to us with a beautiful joyful face. Your
grass is so soft and lush and green, Long
days are carefree and serene. We
can jump into the swimming pool, Or
sip and savor lemonade so refreshing and cool. We
can merrily row our boat Or
just enjoy a nice cream banana split or root beer float Dazzled
and marveled by the dancing ocean waves sprightly playing at the seashore, , We
bask in memory's nostalgia that we greatly cherish and deeply adore. A
picnic with friends in the park, Or
rooting for the home team at the stadium until after dark. All
is woven into a majestic wonderful tapestry, Oh,
summer, we love you for your fun, friendship, and festivity. By: Cynthia Groopman ~**~**~ America's Song America's beautiful song,
Is sacred, full of God's holy light so radiant
and strong.
Full of freedom's mirthful ring,
Oh, America's song we shall forever cherish and
merrily sing.
America's song is full of hope, equality and
dignity,
As a tapestry is woven with peace, joy and harmony.
America's song is a blessing and a gift from
above,
For America, we sing your song with blissful everlasting love. By: Cynthia Groopman Mailbox
I loved this treasure trove of all things
Canadian. Sadly, we Americans know far too little about your
wonderful neighbor to the North. We shouldn't take for granted the
friendship and common values our peoples share. May we both always be
blessed with Freedom, goodness, love, and joy. Joe Here is our
