tell them it would help support the newsletter and they can earn money from it. They need to sign up and install it but they don't need to do anything else. They just do what they normally would anyways on the net and they earn money while it?s on. In other words they just keep it running while they are online. It?s small doesn't take up much system resources and they can earn more if they advertise their own link and get people under them as well. Let them know some people make 5-10$ a day on it and its been open since 2002.?

It's Only Love, That's All It Is?

Earla Hollon

I believe that all of God's creatures are capable of many feelings.? No
one doubts that animals feel hunger, thirst, pain, and fear.? What
astonishes me is how so many people still do not believe that animals are capable of love.? Not just the instinct to protect their offspring, or their mate; but real love.? Maybe they don't experience love exactly as humans do, after all they aren't human; but, there is not a shred of doubt in my mind that animals love.?

Here to me, are two very good examples of an animal showing love. I have sugar gliders. They are cute little things (marsupials). They look a lot like a little flying squirrel; but to me at least, they are cuter,
smarter, and smaller, than a flying squirrel.? The mother carries her
young in a pouch. Normally, they have 1 to 2 babies.

?

My sister gave me a 16 month old male sugar glider, named Scrat, as a very unexpected "Birthday" present. I had been reading up on sugar gliders for a couple of years and had mentioned to her that I might get one someday. Well, I felt sorry for Scrat as I had read over and over that they are such social animals that they can actually die from loneliness.? So, I bought Jenny (a 19 month old female sugar glider), to be Scrat's companion.

They fell in love within minutes.? I think they were both lonely, as
neither one had been around another sugar glider in over a year. Scrat ran up to Jenny, and he cupped her little face in his front hands and pushed his nose into the fur around her face over and over. Giving her deep, what I call "glider kisses", they both were making little yipping noises. I felt honored to see this display of affection.

Not long after that (a couple of weeks at the most) I saw Jenny and
Scrat doing the "dirty" deed. I took Scrat and had him neutered; but I figured I was a little late and that Jenny would get pregnant from that experience, and sure enough, Baby Noel was born (on December 22) three years ago, this past December.? Baby sugar gliders will cling to their mother's back when they are young, and the mother, once the babies are old enough, starts weaning them, and making them walk on their own.

?

One day Jenny was carrying Baby Noel around on her back and she had had enough.? Jenny managed to push Baby Noel off of her back, and away she ran in a flash.? Baby Noel started making pitiful little cries, Jenny didn't care; but, Daddy Scrat rushed over to Baby Noel, and started patting her with his little hands and touching her with his little nose (more glider kisses), then he stretched one little arm around Baby Noel's side to console her. Scrat was showing Baby Noel love, of that I have no doubt. It was so touching to witness this. This was more than just the instinct to procreate, more than just the instinct to protect.

This was love.

Fireflies and the Mysteries of the Night

?

Diana:? Is Rudy starting to settle down at night?

?

BJ:? Tell you what, let's watch him when it gets dark and you will see my

problem.

?

About 9 pm, BJ takes the dogs out for their last bathroom break..and they

all come back in the house fairly quick.

?

Diana is watching...

?

Rudy starts to peek out the window...the fireflies are flying around the

front yard.? Rudy is scratching at the front door.? A few minutes later he

is bouncing down to BJ's bed...whining as if is needs to go outside.

?

Rudy:? Gotta go outside!

?

BJ:? You just went outside.

?

Rudy:? Gotta go!

?

Diana: I have been watching you Rudy.? You just want to play with the lightening bugs.

?

Katie:? Busted dude!

?

Rudy:? Can't help it.... I like to play.? I like to run with the fellers.? They

are not all lightening bugs.

?

BJ:? Yes, they are Rudy.? You silly guy.

?

Rudy:? Let me outside and I will spend the night in the dog run after I play with them.? I will not bark to come in...deal?

?

Diana:? I can't see the harm in that BJ.?

?

BJ:? Okay..

?

BJ opens the door..

?

Zoom!

?

Later about midnight...Rudy is sitting on a hill with a bevy of lights around him...but they are not lightning bugs...

?

Rudy:? When do people quit believing in Fairies and why?

?

We don't know....but we are glad you believe and happy you come out to play with us Rudy...

A poem. I can still be thankful!

Chris Hansen

I can still be thankful

I know this is going to sound quite odd,

But one day as I prayed,

I played

a little game with God.

Suppose God took everything away from me.

Suppose he destroyed my beloved family.

Suppose all of my possessions were burned.

Suppose that they were never returned.

Suppose I were thrown in prison and tortured every day.

Suppose I knew? that there, for the rest of my life, I would stay!

Could I still be thankful? Just what would I pray?

I would say,

"God, everything I love on earth is gone.

Still, I know that I can go on.

However bad things get,

the end has not come yet.

Though I might be tortured for the next fifty years,

there is coming an end to all my tears!

Earth has become a living hell for me.

But this hell has an end! Then I walk into eternity!

Forever comforted by you,

will sooth anything temporary that I might go through.

Thank you God for giving me hope in Jesus, whatever comes my way!"

Yes, that's what I would tell him. That's what I would pray.
