Barbara J. Ervin-Weymouth, a mother, and grandmother dedicated in her 

faith...writing true-life short stories and poetry and trying her hand at web page

design.  She is an adult education, and vocational teacher who has worked in public education for 26 years grew up and still resides in the Sacramento valley of 

California.

How long have you been writing?

I first began writing in 2000

Has any of your works been published?

I have been published in Storytime Tapestry, Pearlsoup.com, Poetry.com

Heartswithsoul.com and womenwithheart.com

What made you want to write?

Memories of true life experiences and divine inspiration

Can you tell us about the short story, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE?

It took me 37 years to write this story. It has been a great source of

healing to me and I pray to my readers as well!

How many short stories and poems have you written?

I have written 20 stories and poems.  I believe in quality verses quantity. 

As a Poet do you feel that poetry is a dead market in terms of people

purchasing poetry books?

I guess I haven't thought about the marketable aspect, as God brings a

memory to me and urges me to write, I obey!

 What is the message you are trying to convey to readers?

I believe the message will be different for each reader. I believe God

gives the stories and poems to me.  God will use them to bless each reader in a

personal way.

 What gives you enjoyment as a writer?

To receive positive comments from my readers, and to know my stories and

poems sparked perhaps, a similar memory for them, warmed their heart, or caused

a healing to begin.
