Exceedingly Blessed!

Let me see.....where do I begin, I ponder.  The beginning would be a nice place, if I can decide

where the beginning is; going back to my poetry, of course. 

Of all the people that I would love to

impress with my writings is the one closest to my heart, my daughter.  I have never known within

the depths of my being if she even looked at my writings much less shared them but oh my, was I in

for a huge surprise.

For starters, she is a registered nurse who works in case management as well as is taking courses

to obtain her bachelor's degree.  One of the perquisites is that she take this religious class.  Within

that class they were to make a presentation of a sort; a retreat.  Without my knowledge, she had

taken one of the poems that I have written some time ago and sent me this email as a notification:

Hi,

Hope you don't mind, but I have shared with my religion class about you becoming a Christian poet and a

Jewel for Jesus which I downloaded from the web page as my inspirational presentation.  I used it to talk

about how you are religious and how I am spiritual and how your writing has inspired me to be more religious.

Needless to say, my heart skipped a beat and the tears ran freely down my face because my goal

had been reached; more deeply than I had ever contemplated.  Thank you, Jesus!

  Being a chosen one, one of the few
  Who turn their life around
  Not a long face or a frown.
  
  Does His joy shine on your face
  With the smile He can only replace
  Are you happy in Service to Him
  Knowing on your knees you have been.
  
  Take a look at this world here below
  All the sin and the sorrow that show
  Be humble and proud of the way
  You have become 'A Jewel for Jesus!
