By Nicole M. Stevenson

B.J. Cassady from Guthrie Oklahoma does a wonderful job expressing his memories and sharing the most precious of times with others to be able to heal. When I read Where The Angel Treads  it moved me to tears...it left me with hope that even at the last moment when we see are loved ones are in pain there are angels present and comforting.

When did you start writing?

I started writing when I was in junior high school, but never

showed the writings to anyone.

What made you want to share such personal stories?

I felt a 'calling' to do so.  I am also a part-time minister.  Most

of the stories are of hope and of choices we make that better

our lives.  I would hope someone would take a lesson from

one of these stories to avoid a pitfall that others have taken.

What is your pISD professional?

I am in the systems group in my company.  I had my own

consulting company for many years, but after my spouse died,

I decided to enjoy life and have one job, well sort of.  I still

write, and preach a bit.

Can you describe yourself?

I would describe myself as I would describe others, as what I

see inside.  A person who has learned to feel, share, to cry and

to laugh.  This life is a large library full of information and we

are each a unique book with specific information.  I am the

smaller part of my marriage to my true love Diana Cassady,

my best friend.

Do you feel a responsibilty to your readers?

I chat with my readers.  I do not write to them.  Honesty is the

only approach, my soul is open to all.

Are you thinking of writing in another genre?

I have written a short story that was actually read on radio

during Halloween.  It was a decent scary story named

"What Lurks Below".  Also, I am working on four stories, one

has been sold as a screen play about 10 years ago, but these

will be in book format:  "The Scarf" (a powerful romantic/

drama/thriller), "Fallout" (action), "Seeds of Deceit" (drama)

and lastly "The Adventures of Katie Kassity" (there are about

6 ezines that carry her adventures on the net,,,from a dog's

view...so far 302 episodes).

How many books have you published?

One Cd has one poem, three books have my poetry, one book

has one of my stories, there is another book due out this year

with another story of mine.  I have not written a full published

book yet.  The screen play and the other five books with my

writings are the early stages of my work.

What will you working on after the CD?

Katie's Komfort Kolumn, a newspaper column and putting my

1,200 pages of writings into five books.  Not counting the

stories I am working on.

B.J. Cassady is a Stephen Minister at Edmond Trinity Church and ISD

professional in Guthrie, Oklahoma.  A disabled Vietnam era USAF vet,

BJ enjoys giving back to the world with his writings and is putting  a

CD audio collection of his best writings together.  Look for his story

'Medals' in "More Patriot Hearts" by Lt Col William Coffey and "The Quilt".
