The Great Beyond,

Carol Roach

The place that I am meant to go with my writing is the great beyond.  I do not see it clearly yet because it stretches far beyond human awareness.  The area is wet and wild, and it is forever expanding.  The growth spurts of this natural habitat parallels my writing muse, sometimes new territory is added in little patches, sometimes acres upon acres of coverage is added is daily. 

There are flatlands waiting to be populated with my words and thoughts; such glorious vegetation, promising wonderful outcomes.  There are many great streams and fertile valleys that flood my soul with wonderful words, and inspirations.   These are the times when my writing muse is at its greatest.  I am alive, I am pregnant with thought. The flowers of my ideations spring forth almost instantly. I watch the petals unfold as I pen my words to paper. I see them blossom before my eyes and I wonder at the beauty of creation, my creation, my garden paradise. 

Beyond the great beyond I see mountain ranges and I know intuitively that my writing will reach great heights. I will soar like an eagle. I will spread my wings and fly.  I will lift my words and offer them to the universe.  They are light yet powerful as they echo of great things to come.
