God Is Forever Laughing

By Robyn Cavalera

I just had to find out why I laugh so much. I know that laughter is of God, as His Word says it is medicine to the body, so I did some research and here are my humble conclusions.

All through the Word, God is said to laugh and smile. He tends to, mostly laugh at the enemy, and smile at us. He experiences great Joy and laughter in us, as His kids. I though about this, and came to some conclusions of my own about laughter, and what it can do.

I know laughter is medicine to the body as the Word says. How? Well every time I laugh, I feel better both physically and emotionally. Of course there is always the chance of a splitting ache in my side from the laughter, but that soon passes, and I am left with great happiness and a feeling of great well being. Now, there is another reason for laughter I want to mention. Laughing at the enemy. God does it repeatedly in the Word. It says He scoffs at the enemy in laughter. Hummmmm??¦ pretty bold huh? So I got to thinking of what would happen if I laughed at the attempts of the enemy to affect my being. Like for example, if I do not feel well, and laughed at the enemy for trying to convince me I am not healed, when I know I am. Would I feel better, and would it have the same effect on the enemy for me as it did for God? Therefore, I put it to the test so to say. I awoke with a very heavy fatigue over me the other morning. So, I got up, laughed at the enemy and said??¦ "I do not believe you are trying to hit me with that old ploy! Really satan, try a new one. I already know I am healed and that I have great energy and strength in Christ Jesus. Hehehehehehe get real devil!!!! The Lord rebukes you!!" Then I laughed some more in sheer childish delight in having done what my Daddy has said He has done, and waited a few minutes. Sure enough I felt better and had lots of energy. Hummm? There might be some thing here!! So now, when I am feeling a bit down, or contrary to what the Word says about me, I just laugh, I mean I really laugh. I find a joke or some thing that hits my silly bone, and laugh, Praising God, and go about my day!!! Hey it works for me! Now do not get me wrong here. I know the enemy is mighty, and should be (semi) respected for what he can do. However, I also know what GOD does and can do. In addition, I know that His power is far greater than any enemy power that exists. I am just saying I am taking my example from the Great I AM, and His way to me seems to make sense. After all, He created laughter, and has had great success in using it!!!! Enough said. Have a Blessed and Laugh filled day in Jesus!!!!!

Welcome the Lessons

Joyce C. Lock

? ? ? ?  When we read of the great men of old (the mighty and the strong, the courageous, the faithful, those who slew thousands and ten thousands), perhaps we also think of phrases like, "faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings with a single bound."

? ? ? ?  In admiring their feats, we tend to think of these men as super human, almost supernatural, and nearly impossible to follow; while missing their weakness and how God brought them to places of such courage and faith.

? ? ? ?  If you have ever found yourself in a series of lessons wherein you hang on to God because there is nothing else to hang on to and He gives you sweet promises like this, "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee: and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee," Is. 43:2 ... then there is nothing left to do but hang on, drown, or get burned.?  That is how God's chosen become courageous.

? ? ? ?  If you are experiencing anything like this then, consider than you might have been chosen (Is. 43:10) for special services, too, and welcome the lessons.

? ? ? ?  One step at a time you will come to 'know' God with your whole heart, 'believe' Him with your whole life, and 'understand' with your whole being that He is all there is, all there ever really was, and all you need.?  You will be so consumed in His love that there will be no doubt but what God dearly loves you, He is for you, He will always be there for you, His promises are true, you can count on Him for anything, things will always turn out for your good, and He will always do the most loving thing possible toward you.

? ? ? ?  Only when we go through the fires and floods can we begin to walk as the great men of old.?  For, it is when we are weak that we learn of His strength.

Forgive & Judge

Bill Walker

wildbill6807@yahoo.com

I know it should be Judge, find guilty or not guilty, and forgive.?  Today I have turned it around.

I was thinking this morning about something that is very very hard to do. I was also thinking about another thing, I have harped on it a few times.?  And this too is something that is very hard to do, or I should say not do.

Luke 23;34...?  Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.?  Here we have Jesus asking God to forgive these people for what they have done to him. I ask a simple question, is there any? of us that could say? if we are at deaths door by the hands of others,?  say Father forgive them??  Now? I know none of us walk on water, also none of us is the Pure Son Of GOD. But say someone has wronged you real real bad, can you forgive? Jesus was asked this question.?  How many times to forgive.

Matthew18;21-22.. Peter asked,, Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times; but until seventy times seven.?  Now if I remember simple math, that amounts to 490 times, that is a lot.?  Now I think one should by all means read to the very end of that chapter. Might change a lot of thinking.

My other thought today is on the judge stuff.?  Seems to me people is so quick to judge. We will jump on any thing to be a judge of.?  We judge things and people even ones we do not know.?  I think most that every reads any of my stories has read about some Dollie. ? I drag a Dollie into the picture some way some how.?  Now let me tell you I have had it up to my eye balls with people on the judge bit. Let me tell you about the Dollies.?  I have only seen I think it is 3, maybe 4. Others I have not, and may never see them. The ones I have seen, and the ones I have not seen, never gave me reason to say any are evil.? We all are sinners are we not? I believe Jesus said. if your with out sin cast the first stone.?  But? I sure have a lot of fine up standing so called Christians all set to cast a stone at any and all of these Ladies I call Dollies. Now I know a dog is a real good judge of what a person is like.?  Let me tell you Tinker and Poo got to meet 3 of the Ladies I call Dollies.?  You know they took up with them right off the bat.?  I have so called great Christians to come to my door,?  Tinker and Poo wanted nothing what so ever to do with them, one was a preacher. Now? I later found out the Boys was right on the preacher.

I think I have read about the Good Samaritan.?  You can be what would be called a Good Samaritan in many ways. You may never see a person, but you hear of a problem they may be having.?  This was my case in forming the Dollie group.?  A lady found me on the Internet [oh boy I can hear it now]... She had wrote a story, I wrote her about what a great story.?  We started to write one another.?  She brought another lady into the picture.? ?  Between the two of them I started to try out writing stories. I had much help in doing so between these two. Evil right to the core wouldn't you say??  Soon there is another Dollie that writes and tells me? she liked a story I of all people had wrote.?  Evil all over again, she joins the Dollie group.?  Then one day I get to thinking what with Dollies telling me to put a book together.?  I try but hit a wall, can't get the parts to go together.?  Out of the woodwork steps a couple new Dollies that says, Bill send me the stuff, maybe I can help.?  Is that not Good Samaritan?? ?  No I guess to some it amounts to evil.?  I think not,,, It boils down to kindness and can I help you??  This world can do with a lot less judging, and? more can I help you people.

We touch people in many different ways. We read in the Bible the woman that touched the clothes of Jesus.?  He touched many people in different ways.?  He reached out in actions and speach, that is a type of touch.?  He does that today, his words spoken then rings true today and forever, that is a touch. When people says things about others, there has to be a touch there. You touched them either with kind words or cutting words. If you know not, now can you find guilt??  It might be wise even if you do know to keep quite. Remember he who likes to find dirt about others, may have dirt banked up at their own door step, and much deeper.

Who knows what more forgiving can do??  Who knows what more kindness, and a helping hand can do?? Who knows what less quick judging of an unknown can bring about.?  ? And please don't bad mouth any of the Ladies I call Dollie.?  Are you perfect and with out sin?? ? If so cast the rocks at me and what ever Dollie you are picking on.?  If you pick up the rock and throw you better walk on water.?  But? I think the one who walked on water said to forgive seven times seventy.....CASE CLOSED!!!!!

About Me:

Well I??™m a story teller, not a writer. Never learned the art of fancy English. I

happen to live in Nebraska, but I??™m still Missouri. Never married, all the Dollies I

ever took a second look at was too smart. Now at 74, just turned that other day, I

figure they all home safe. I love Doggies and Dollies in that order. Lost my two

true friends this year, that be Tinker and Poo. So I found me a new one. This

time a little girlie Peke. She is a normal female. Got a mouth, talks all the time.

She will never be a great writers of stories like Tinker and Poo. They have

about 50 stories on HWS. And now writing back from Rainbow Bridge.

I just try to write about people, places and things best I remember. Have something

over 250 stories on HWS. under three names.? ? ?

Who Knew?

Jodi Flesberg Lilly

Who knew it was just a matter of time

And the ticking of the clock

Would open up this heart of mine

So my eyes could see

What I couldn??™t know

A moment before I knew?

Who knew it would take 50 years

For me to become me?

50 years was inconceivable to me

When I was 30, and even 48

I was loathe to even consider it

Until it occurred.

Who knew that when the time was ripe

Shortly after the clock struck

An owl would hoot??”for several minutes, in fact

And I would emerge from the trance

The bubble would pop

The spell would break

And I??™d awaken,

Like Cinderella, with a twist,

Turning into me

Who knew it would be so easy?

When all was finally said and done

The long feared, dreaded dawning of 50

Brought the gift of all I am

Presented with fanfare and celebration

Unequaled in my life

Who knew I was ready

After all those years in vain

Vainly demanding to command such things

As I didn??™t understand

And when it arrived

It would happen in such a quiet, natural way?

Who knew it would be okay

No, so much more than okay

Excellent, fantabulous

And add awesome to that!

Who knew I would be basking in love

From within and without

Alive as never before

When my moment and 50 arrived.

Light Radiates

Jodi Flesberg Lilly

Light radiates? in beams from heaven

Visible as they break on the tree tops

Filling me heart and soul

With the divine heat and energy

That allows trees to grow

And life on the planet to exist

Heaven touches earth

Its visible evidence

Stirs my soul

Awakening me

To the nature of light

To see beyond what is visible

To delight in what is possible

In the light

The Key

The key to the lock
That opens the door
Is hidden from the eye

Only those
With the right combination
Of qualities need apply

Even they will be tested first
Their colors against the sky
If they fly free
Then their destiny
Will move them toward the door

The door will not be opened
Despite the gifts they bear
All the wisdom they proclaim
The twisting of their rhymes
Can not turn its latch
That only occurs with time
Once the games and pleas
Have long since ceased
Surrendered to the Light

The Light will reveal
The key
That turns the lock
That opens the door
To the kingdom
That lies within the heart
Its wonders to explore
