THE JOURNEY SHE WALKS IS FOR EACH OF US

TODAY I RECEIVED THIS FROM MY DAUGHTER, LAURIE.
Laurie IS THE WOMAN in the story who helped so many school children by? 
developing that special program and running it for a year. That was the? 
program that took emphasis away from bullying and put the focus on? 
reporting others for their good works (good deeds).

Laurie will walk 60 kilometers in one weekend to raise money for Cancer? 
research. I do not know who has donated, but if you were thinking about? 
it at all and did not get around to it here is your opportunity.

?  Laurie has received help from people she has never met. And she is so? 
grateful.

She wants to do all she can to help this cause because her grandfather? 
had cancer, her father lives with cancer, her aunt died young because? 
of cancer, her cousin has breast cancer and she knows that many more,? 
friends and neighbors will be hit with this relentless disease.

So do you remember I told you I had registered for

The Weekend to End?

Breast Cancer? I had actually volunteered to walk 60 kilometres over?  two days, and to raise $4000. Well, guess what, the big weekend is? almost here!
? 
The training was hard to start. I have to admit that I have not?  trained as much as I should have and it will be total determination?  that pulls me through. I will be wanting some spa time after next?  weekend.
? 

I've already raised $3,146.81. I know I only have to raise $2,000,?  but I wanted to do more, so my personal goal is to raise $4,000 by?  August 12th. I still have $853.19 to go.
? 

I want to thank everyone who has already supported me. I can't?  believe how generous so many of you have been. Of course, I still need?  everyone's support.
? 

Please, if you're thinking of making a donation, make it now. The?  funds are used by Alberta Cancer Foundation as soon as we raise them.
? 

And everyone can support me (even if you already have) by sending out?  my requests to all of your friends, family and coworkers. Think about?  it, 1 in 9 women are diagnosed with breast cancer, so try to send it?  to 9 people. Walk day is quickly approaching but there is still time? to donate online.
