My Heart Is Crying

The silence is deafening!?  The colour has faded from my world, as I march to a different drummer today.?  There seems little purpose to waking up each morning and a resentment is building up inside, because others are going on with their everyday work and being normal.?  Why? I want to scream at them all. Why can??™t you see my heart is crying??  Tears overflow from my eyes, drowning all sense and reason.?  My Husband passed away last month! Why hasn??™t the world stopped for me too??  We shared forty-six years together, how do I function alone??  I really don??™t want to after all.?  When will this pain ease??  I don??™t know the answers. I just need the strength to face one day at a time without him by my side.

My heart is crying, not for you

Not for things we used to do.

My heart is crying tears of pain

My life will never be the same.

? 

The tears are really all for me

And what my life can now be

Can I exist without you dear?

Another day, or month, or year?

? 

I miss you every single day

Every night for you I pray

Together once again to be

? Sharing all eternity

? 

An emptiness, now fills my soul

Without you, I am not whole.

A perfect love has no denying

Yes my darling, my heart is crying.

Magazines. I self published a book of my own poetry book, Titled `A POSY OF
VIOLETS and a book of poetry for my pupils.

I have completed my first novel a Murder abduction story and now writing my
second. I think my favourite writing would have to be children's stories.
