The Touch Of Love

His eyes gaze into mine,

Hypnotic, revealing, sublime

The hunger of his passion ignites

The desire in me, despite

My need to leave him tonight

I voice with false bravado,

I cannot stay, I have to go

His arms circle mine and hold me tight

I surrender willing without a fight

Clinging to him with all my might

? 

Within in his embrace

I feel my heart race

The fires within in us once more ignite

Denying our passion would not be right

In the heat of the moment there is no respite

His tongue searches through parted lips

Electric shivers convulse from my hips

His fingers tease gently, silk as a glove

Gentle breezes with full moon above

Tonight we surrendered to our soul??™s perfect love

Clicketey tick, tick, tick,

The rain descends heavily upon my balcony

Shliiiiiiiiiiiiip , shliiiip

Automobiles slap the concrete road below

Whoooosh,

The trees sway frantically in the wind

Ticketey tick tick tick

My cat runs for shelter? 

away from the menacing sound

Errrrk, bang

The balcony door slams shut

Aaaaaah

Another summer storm,

Relief from this sweltering heat

A perfect ending to a scorching day

Brrrrrrrrrrrh

My cat is content

she too agrees
