Nurturing Our Dreams

Carol Roach

Right now I nurture the seedling of my dream when I do not linger on bad feelings and past hurts.?  I understand life has it series of ups and downs, and each bump in the road is a learning experience and not a barrier for crossing.

There are times when my journey will appear all uphill, but the benefits of the hard work and determination I produce manifest itself when I reach the lush valley below.?  How I conduct my life today, the attitudes I demonstrate, and the friendships I keep are all stepping stones for my glorious future ahead of me.

I prepare the path to enlightenment, self actualization, and internal bliss. I am in control of my life and the path it will take.I have the power and I take positive action to bring it about. I do not dwell on what I cannot do. I focus upon what I can and will do.I am the agent of my destiny, the sole creator of my dreams, and the bearer of special gifts to nurture my soul.

The seedling of my dream looks like a successful fifty-year-old woman, satisfied with who she is, feeling good in her skin, and grateful for all the universe has offered her.

The seedling of my dream sounds like laughter, contentment, and an exuberant disposition towards life. It sounds like the turning of many pages as the people of the world read my books and enjoy my work.

The seedling of my dream is the sweet smell of success. It is the success in knowing I have left a legacy for the world to enjoy. I have left my soul eternally encapsulated through my writing.

The seedling of my dream tastes like wild berries, elusive yet attainable, and oh so wonderful. They are gathered, eaten, and appreciated for their sweet fresh taste, their quality, and the pure joy mother earth has released upon a hungry body and hungry soul. The seedling of my dream tastes like attainment, pride, respect, and success.

The seedling of my dream feels wonderful. It feels right. The seedling of my dream feels soft and smooth. The seedling of my dream feels comfortable. I know because I feel it now.
