Subject: Call For Submission: Back By Popular Demand - Halloween Contest - October06, 2005

STORYTIME TAPESTRY

The Newsletter devoted to spreading love and cultural awareness throughout the world

Here is the deal.  As you all know I am looking forward to getting the queue stories down to a decent size so that I can shorten the newsletter for those who feel it is too long and to shorten the time that writers have to wait to get their stories published.

However, a few writers feel disappointed that I had not announced the annual Halloween Contest which has come to be a Storytime Tapestry Favourite Activity.

So here it; is I am announcing the Halloween Contest and Call for Submission.

As in the past, you will vote according to writer and not story submitted as some writers do send in more than one story.

Send in your stories immediately first stories will be published on Halloween Day.  That will give you all amply time to write!  No stories will be accepted after Oct 30th which is the day before the contest starts.  This is very important to remember; there is a deadline line this year.

The stories will run throughout the month of November or until all the submissions have gone through.

Writers are still welcome to submit more than once, but please do not send in 15 submissions.  The submissions may have appeared in other newsletters or published elsewhere, but I prefer that they are new submissions for Storytime Tapestry, not something that was published by us in years gone by.

Now what to write

Fiction or non-fiction both are accepted.

The stories can be about Halloween or about non related Halloween stories which contain and element of the supernatural.

That means:

They can be about ghosts, angels, miracles, psychic ability, premonitions, dreams, nightmares, scary stories; in otherwords just about anything that cannot be explained by the natural world.

If you don't have a scary story, talk about an angel visit or miracle that happened that cannot be explained through science.  This contest is only limited by your imagination.

Do your best but most importantly have fun!

Carol Roach
