As I was praying this is what I felt the Holy Spirit was saying to me.

The time of His arrival is soon.?  There is no longer any time for babies in Christ to remain children.?  They must grow up quickly and have their hands trained for war quickly.?  They must be taught all aspects of warfare and learn of the Authority they have in Christ quickly.?  I hear quickly often in these times.?  Learn quickly.?  Train quickly.?  Be prepared quickly.?  If the young (and this is not speaking of age, but of growth in Jesus) do not learn and grow they will perish and the enemy will overtake them like a flood.?  They must learn to stand firm with the ???Standard??? of the Lord against the flood that will come.? 

So my People, what are you doing??  Are you training your arms for war? Or are you sitting and waiting for the end to come in smug surety of what is to happen??  You think you have the answers.?  You think you know what will occur and you will not be here to see the wrath of a Mighty and Jealous God, so why should you prepare??  For that lack of Knowledge my people will perish.?  I am looking to see raised up the 300 who will not faint and will go with me into battle.?  I do not want to have to see the other 2,700 fall out of fear.?  But to me all my children are the three hundred, if my people who know Me will train them as you have been trained. Know this, I will hold you accountable for those who perish for lack of being taught.?  So my Beloved??¦. Choose you this day who you will serve.?  Then serve Me with your whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and teach your neighbor to do likewise.?  I come as a thief in the night.?  Stand guard lest you be caught unaware and lost in the fight about to break forth.?  It is coming, and in fact has already begun, but what you see now is only a small part of the onslaught the enemy has planned in this last time before My return.?  He will not go down easy I assure you, but through ME and BY ME all things are given to you to have authority over in Heaven and on earth, by MY Name.?  My Breath lives in you.?  My power is made great in your weakness.?  I will train your hands to war.?  Stay ever in My Presence and fill your selves with My Glory and fresh Wine, for it will strengthen you for the days ahead. As you stay in Me and in My Glory, you shall watch as the enemy falls on all sides and no harm will come to you.?  But this battle is in spiritual ways, not natural ways.?  Learn from Me and you will be able to stand in the days ahead and stand firm!

Zec 9:16?  And Jehovah their God shall save them in that day as the flock of His people; for they are as stones of a crown, lifted up as a barrier over His land.

Zec 9:17?  For how great is its goodness, and how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

Crisis In America

Today I and a few folks were talking about these ridiculous gas prices and how it is affecting so many in this country.?  We talked about what the government SHOULD do, which I say, if we're going to pay $65 for a barrel of oil (which was the price on the news this morning) then we should match it for what we send out......sugar, wheat, flour, things the Eastern countries need from us.?  What's wrong with an eye for an eye??  Our government will not do it.?  So, what options do we have left to get these gas prices back down and keep them down?

? 

One man said if this country would boycott the gas stations that are getting their oil from Eastern Countries, and STICK with it for a few days and put a crunch on their pocket books, we can make a difference.?  But, I said, "Not enough people will do it, they'd rather whine about it but no one ever wants to step up to the plate to made a difference on many issues in this country."

? 

We have to remember, we are the people in America.?  It is OUR tax money they are using for everything.?  ? We are the average Americans who? are paying the price for so many things.?  I personally can't see wasting tax payers money on sending space ships into outer space when we have a major medical problem in this country.?  ? We have a judicial system that is broken, and we have poverty right here in America.?  We have crooked people in politics who are padding their own pockets at our expense.

? 

One thing that irks me more than anything is to hear how much a football or baseball player is getting yearly to play ball.?  The way I look at it, the troops while serving in that God forsaken place they are at, should be getting the big paychecks.?  They are sacrificing a lot more than a baseball or football player.?  The one who was just given 3.5 million dollars to play ball for one year, excuse me, but that is just not right.?  Is he sacrificing the ultimate price??  Is his life in danger??  Is he sleeping in a comfortable bed at night and laying his head on a soft pillow??  You bet he is, but our soldiers are not.

? 

I can't see letting anyone, and I don't care where they are from, coming over here and opening a business and taking in money and not having to pay taxes for several years.?  That is not fair to we who have lived here all our lives and have paid taxes since we were old enough to work.

? 

There are many things that are happening today that is not fair.?  But I've come to the conclusion if we allow the "higher ups" to do whatever they want with the money they take from our paychecks in taxes, nothing will ever change.

? 

I for one would like to see every killer and child molester sent to Iraq to fight.?  The way I look at it, if they like to overpower someone, send them over there and say, "Have at it."?  Instead, we sit and watch TV and watch stupid judges say, "Well, he/she had a bad childhood, they couldn't help what they did."?  DUH!

? 

Why is everyone afraid to speak out??  We have freedom of speech so why not use it??  At least, get the juices flowing of those who are afraid to speak out.?  Give them something to think about. Because nothing is going to stop in this country until we all say, "WE'VE HAD ENOUGH."

? 

I am not buying my gas from any station that buys from the Middle East.?  I'm not supporting them.?  I'm not putting cash into their pockets.?  You can do whatever you want, but we better all stop and think and look around us, we are facing some major issues in this country.?  How much more do you want to take?

My belly is full and I say enough is enough.

The Road Map of Life

The road of life calls for many road maps.?  The first few years of life is pretty much mapped out for a child. Some where in the teens, a now grown up child start to doing a little mapping on their own. At first not much in way of mapping, but every so often has a bit more freedom to do the mapping.

? 

Then comes the day, a now young man or woman really is in charge of the map. This is the road you are taking. For better or worse there is no U turns and go back and try some other road.?  Each day is a road, today you go along,?  you make up your mind to ? do something, do it and it don't work.?  You can go try it another way, but? you find the try and failed was part of the map.?  The time used cannot be replaced, that was part of the road map.

? 

A year goes by, that year is gone, it was part of the road map. Life is not a readable map, till you have traveled the road. One will find after the road of life is traveled for any amount of time. One saying if only I had known there was a muddy road ahead, or this road was dirt, or gravel. Life's roads are not always paved and smooth. After you travel and look back on your now road map of life, you see the gravel road, the washed out road, the potholes of life.

I told a lady while back, wish I had taken some other road back there, when I came to a fork in the road of life.?  I got to thinking what I had said.? Now one can't go back and do that, as it would cause troubles.?  Would mess up others road maps.

? 

You see if I had taken some other road, I wouldn't be here today writing this screw ball story. I would have missed you in life. We would have never met.?  And here you are saying wish he had taken that fork in the road.

? 

When I was thinking all this it came to me, if I had taken that fork in the road map of my life, I would?  have missed a great joy. Why I would have missed Tinker and Poo.?  And if I had missed those two, goodness they were some of my better days. Goodness, no I don't won't to go back and redo the road map.

? 

When you get old and gray, pick up your road map of life, and look at it.There is a few smooth paved?  places. Then there is the road full of potholes, and gravel? parts of the road.?  Some times it gets down to a path, pig path at that. But it is a map of your life.? There was some for the better,a lot of for the worse.

? 

Would you changed it, well maybe, at least that way you wouldn't be reading this and wondering why??

The Winds of Change

The winds of change are blowing
That much is plain to see
I watch the tide come rolling in
The swaying of the trees
Nature says, All will change
Or it will cease to be

Why is it we humans
Reject this earthly truth
And cause ourselves such suffering
Resisting as we do

Rejecting our own nature
We deny life with our mind
When that which once was precious
Must be left behind

Embrace what is before you
Giving it its due
And the gifts will be revealed
Once hidden from view

Each step we take
Reveals a truth
We couldn??™t see before
When we were holding what we knew
That fact became a door
Concealing the bridge before us
Inviting us to more

Bridges must be crossed
To go from here to there
Crossing is a process
By which we are aware
Only of what we??™re leaving
Not of what will be
What's waiting? on the other side
Is life??™s true mystery

The compost of our history
Creates a fertile ground
Letting go of what we know
Relinquishing it to earth
We bow our heads, giving thanks
Before we know new birth

Then new seeds can be planted
New growth will be found
Again our lives can flourish
Upon this hallowed ground
