I have Learned

Carol Roach, M.Ed

I have learned that just because somebody says I love you, does not necessarily make it so.

I have learned that just because somebody doesn't say I love you in words, does not mean it is not shown in actions.

I have learned that sometimes a person just needs to vent, they don??™t want or need advice. What they want is someone to listen to them.

I have learned that the angriest children and grownups are sometimes the very people that need love the most.

I have learned that when a person pushes away from you, it is often time the time he/she needs you the most.

I have also learned that when a person pushes away from you, perhaps you have come on to strong.

I have learned to respect my own personal space as well as the space of others.

I have learned that I do not always have to be right to have people love and respect me.

I have learned that my world will not fall apart if I am wrong. When I acknowledge the wrong and correct it, it keeps my world together.

I have learned that the world does not evolve around me, but I am a very special person in it.

I have learned that everyone is special in their own way.

I have learned the wonderful power of God.
