Someone Asked
~ My View? ~
So, Here Goes ...

My View?

Joyce. C. Lock

? ? ? ?  Church Deacons stated they had voted for President Clinton (in spite of his? anti-family pro-abortion? stands) in hopes? that Democrats could create? a better economy.?  Family values out the window and even murder; how sick are we!?

My View?

? ? ? ?  Political parties wage their own wars, often caring more about? power than what is in? our best interest.?  And, we? vote for? these people!?

My View?

? ? ? ?  Renowned people spend untold hours getting, financial and signature, support to lobby congress.?  Just think what might happen if they spent that time and energy reaching people for our Lord!

My View?

? ? ? ?  Others? promote boycotting everything that isn't like us, hoping to hurt another's business, whether they have all the facts or not.?  Since when was it even 'the? self-righteous? thing to do' to destroy another's testimony?

My View?

? ? ? ?  Then there are those who? either don't have the funds or don't want to financially support good deeds.?  So, they click on links, again and again, utilizing company support ~ when it is really the stock holder who pays for it.?  Stealing to ease our conscience?

My View?

? ? ? ?  "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land," II Chr. 7:14.

Once? we begin to place our faith anywhere

other than? where it belongs,

we have become? the problem.

That is My View.

End Of Summer

Tim Kevin
-
Answering a knock at my door. I found a small boy, about six years old,
one I recognized as from a new family that had recently moved in down
the street.
-
Something of his he said had somehow found its way into my garage and he
was asking for it back.
-
I couldn't help but notice several other munchkins about the same age,
sort of mopin' and shufflin' around on the curb pretending to be
disinterested in our negotiations.
-
Opening the garage door, I noticed two new additions: a base-ball
sitting in the middle of the garage floor and a broken window sporting a
baseball-sized hole.
-
"How do you suppose this ball got in here?" I asked the boy. he a bit
hesitant to enter into the open garage more than a foot or two.
-
But taking one look at the ball, one look at the window, and then one
very quick look and assessment at me, the boy blurted out in one big
tumble of words,
-
"Wow! I must have thrown it right through that hole!"

Beyond the stars

You will find me waiting

With Angel wings

And peace within.

A smile will greet you

A hug thrown in for measure

Someday you will meet me

Beyond the Stars.

No more tears are shed

So dry your eyes, I wish you well

Live your life as Jesus teaches

Meet me, Beyond the Stars.

Like A Flower

Helen Dowd

Sister, you were like a flower??”
Put on this earth to bloom??”
Resplendent in your beauty,
But wilted far too soon.

You added comfort to our lives,
Just as a flower would;
But even flowers fade and die:
We'd keep them if we could.

But when the blossom shrivels up,
And drops into the ground,
It never ever dies in vain.
It scatters seeds around.

Although you're gone away from us,
And we'll miss you very much,
There's no one who came near to you
Whose life you did not touch.

Dear Carol,

My condolences are with you and your family during your time of loss.

It doesn't matter how sick a loved one is, or how much they go through, it is always a terrible loss for those close to them when it's time to depart.

I will put your name in the healing book at church on Sunday, if that is okay with you.

God Bless and take care,

Pauline Fisher
