A Thank you To the Gang at Storytime Tapestry

My name is Paula Booher. I'm a newbie. I just want to Thank Carol for taking me on and making me feel So welcome right from the very beginning. I don't know how I was found or if I found you...I'm just so Happy we all met!

God is So Good to me to bring me to such a wonderful group of people. I've been reading all of the postings and I have to say from the bottom of my heart...WOW!

My name is Paula Roe Honeycutt Booher. I'm 48. I was raised in Central Missouri, but I now live in Southwest Missouri. Thanks to reading and my imagination I've traveled the globe. In reality I have traveled very little. By reading all the wonderful stories of others I go to many places and read of the wonderful places they have been and the cultures they were raised in. I go on safari's with them, I walk on beaches, and enjoy the most beautiful love stories.

When I was a child, music was the escape that made years of abuse bearable. I never saw myself as a writer. I was a Singer. I sang to little animals in the woods and walked for hours singing to them about my troubles without fear of attack. I was very shy around people but animals didn't frighten me. I didn't like snakes, still don't, I'm not afraid of them, just don't like them as pets. I won contest in school for my singing. I played the trombone for eight years in the band. Music was a big part of High School when I wasn't working full time to help my mother, sister, and brother. Music is still my passion and I still sing to my children with the stereo in my home. I was told I could have been famous, still Can be... I might Be... I Will Be!

The writing is what consumes at This Moment and I just wanted to Take the time to say, "Thank You" to Carol's writer's and to Carol for allowing Me to be a part of her team.

I've been writing consistantly since 1982. I've been Submitting since October 2004. You can find me at poetry.com and now at Storytime Tapestry. I'm so humbled and honored to be a part of such lovely people. You are a fun group with alot of heart, down to earth values, God given talent, and shux, you just know where you come from...and I like that!
