First day of voting and the running is tight.?  Of course I am looking for many more votes.?  It is really nice to see the new writers for Storytime Tapestry being voted for.?  But I can??™t tell you anymore than that; can??™t sway your decision can I?? 

? 

Remember I need your votes as soon as possible. Please have pity on me and not send them in the last minute on the 4^th of March.?  I start school full time on the 6^th of March.

Oh and did I mention it is my birthday ??“ March 6^th.?  I will be 51-years-old.

Now for my new contest, I got to thinking that we have had the traditional scary story for Halloween contests, we have had Christmas Story contests, and our ever popular Valentines Contest.

We have never had a funny or embarrassing contest.?  So now I have decided we will have an April Fools Day contest.

? 

You have up until March 31^st to submit.

? 

Submissions can be sent to other places, but never before featured on Storytime Tapestry. In other words yes, for those of you who ask me each contest, yes, the stories could have appeared elsewhere, but never before on Storytime Tapestry.

Fiction or non fiction accepted

No length requirements.

? 

Multiple submissions accepted ??“ maximum 3 stories per writer.?  That means the Dowds can have 6 entries because they are a couple.

Furthermore, Hart Dowd can grace us with a story about the history of April Fools Day as well.

Topics ??“

April Fools day jokes and other jokes played on you or someone you know,

Or

Jokes played on anyone anytime of the year.

Or

?  Embarrassing moments ??“ please try to keep it clean, anything offensive will be discarded.

Off hand I can see Sharon Bryant and Richard Sims, submitting some wonderful stories. Are there other writers out there who are up for the challenge??

I have thrown down the proverbial Gauntlet, let??™s see who can do this- who is up for the challenge!

Again we want to have fun, fun, fun!?  Who knows I might even write a story myself.
