Storytime Tapestry, My Sounding Board

 Norma Liles

When I look back over the last three yeas of my life and my experience with the implication of Storytime Tapestry's newsletter on my life, I feel very rewarded to have become not only a member of this Elite group but a senior writer, as well.

This is not the sum total of my relationship with this newsletter.  No, not at all.   It has been a learning experience from the sharing of other writer's input from their various walks of life from different areas, their hopes, their dreams, their tribulations, their honors, their falls and their climbs back from the valleys to the top of the mountain.  Many times, their outlook on life has affected my thinking in a very positive manner.

If you have read my bio, you may notice that I love to make new friends.  Over time, I have made many new friends through this tool; friends that have become a very important part of my life.  Just recently, another lady made contact with me through my writings in this special group.  I am sure that our friendship will grow and I hope that you have had this warm response to your writings, as well.  I am so thankful that we have the privilege of voicing our opinions on other's writings.  I have received feedback through this channel that has given me the incentive to continue following my dream of writing.  Thank you, my friends!

I would be remiss if I didn't mention my long time association with our Storytime's owner; Carol Roach who has been an inspiration to me when I started submitting poetry or stories and who has become like another daughter to me.  She promotes my work as the need arises but as any true friend, she uses constructive criticism to bring my work up to another level.

It is past time that I relate my true feeling about this newsletter that has enriched my life.

Long live Storytime_Tapestry!   You have enlightened my life!!   Thank you!
