I thank everyone for their Memorial Day contributions.  We will be wrapping up these stories on June l, and I will be launching the Fathers Day stories shortly.   Please let me know if you like the idea of Publishers Pick. I started the Publishers Pick in lieu of voting as the response for voting was less than desirable.
  

Call for submissions for Fathers Day

No length requirement

They must be first time stories for Storytime Tapestry. I do not republish what I have already published before but….

IT IS OKAY THAT THEY HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED ELSEWHERE.

The reason I capitalized this is because each call for submissions writers asks me if they published a story elsewhere can they publish with me and the answer remains YES!

Yes you can submit more than once. I have not really put a limit on submissions. 

What to submit:  Anything that talks about a father.

-         Your father, your husband as a father, your grandfather, your father in heaven.

-         A priest or other member of the clergy

-         An animal as a father or chief protector of a family etc

-         Father time

-         Mentor or father figure

-         Founding fathers of any country or religion

-         In effect any story that contains the word father in it having the father as the central theme.

Please send your submissions to me: winterose@videotron.ca, with Fathers day submission clearly mentioned in the subject line of the email.  Don’t forget to properly identify yourself in the body of the newsletter: Your story title, your name, story text, email address, and bio if you care to include one.

I will commence running the stories on June 15^th.
