WHERE ARE YOU?

Barbara J. Williams

Today has been a very busy day for all of us. Some of us have laughed and some of us have cried. Some of us have felt lonely and lost. Some of us have felt great pain both in our souls and our bodies. Some of us have wondered which way we should turn. And if we turn the right way, will it be the right way. And will there be some one there to lend us a hand if we need one.
Some of us have family that we can depend on. And some of us have families who don't want us to depend on them because they are too busy doing things with their own lives and their own families. This is how you know they feel.
Some of us will have no place to lay our heads down tonight. And some of us will have nice warm homes to go to. Or a nice cool place to go to get out of the heat.
Some of us will have enough food to satisfy our hunger and some of us will fall asleep hungry or wondering where the next meal will come from.
And some of us will be rich with all the money and objects we want or need and then some of us will have nothing but what we have on our backs.
Some of us will die tonight and meet our final destination and some of us will live to see another day being the same as the last.
But you know, if you really looked at all you see with your heart and your soul you would see that all of us are joined as one. Yes we are all truly one large family. We are each one kin to each other. Black, white, yellow, it doesn't matter the color of skin you wear on the outside. We all had to start from somewhere and that is the beginning and that is where the family started. Yes, it was the beginning for all mankind. So when you see your brother in tears and your sister hungry or in need of a smile, please, won't you welcome them as you would someone who has always been in your life? Because, yes my friends, we are all family. We are all one with each other.
As the baby is born, the old must die. So I reach my heart, my soul, and my hand out to you my brothers and sisters and I welcome you into this family of unity. It matters not wither you call yourself a Christian, Jew, or someone who not yet knows the Lord, you are loved and you belong in the family. We are all children of God for He created each one of us.

~ Would You Deny Him? ~

Joyce. C. Lock

If someone came to your church, claiming to be called to build churches (both spiritually and numerically) while offering no special programs or gimmicks, you could see it their heart's desire, the Holy Spirit compelling them, and every step of instruction was scriptural ... would you receive them (I John 5:6b)?

If a prophet came to your front door, with glorious visions for your future, and they (not only proclaimed God's message with the veil of the Old Testament removed, but) were willing to be the person in the forefront; going through all the fires and floods to show you how (fulfilling scriptural evidence that their gift was real) ... could you believe them (I Corinthians 13:4-7)?

If someone could interpret the misunderstood writings of Paul, to guide you into the experimental ministration; where Christ is truly the head of the church ... would you still want more proof (II Corinthians 13:3, 5)?

If God rose up murders, adulterers, terrorists, and the like to places of special service (as He did the great men of old) ... would you be like the Jews, requiring a sign from Heaven (when such had already been provided within scripture)?  Or, would you be like the Greeks, still seeking wisdom; or even the Romans, with a list of reasons why God's Word does not count for today (I Corinthians
1:22, Acts 16:19-21)?

God keeps His Word in that He will never walk over the heart of man to accomplish His purpose.  No apostle, no prophet, no Savior, no calling has any power with man; except they first be received by faith (Matthew
13:58).

If you want to see the works of Jesus, the power of Jesus, and the truth of Jesus in others' lives, one must believe they are a messenger of the Lord (Galatians 4:29); and faith without works is dead.

For every action contained in the scriptures, there is a reaction.  First, 'trust' God (believe Him), 'try' Him (take the step of faith), and then God will 'prove' He is who He says He is (Hebrews 11:6).

Might we also require proof of Jesus, causing Him great sorrow, and risk forfeiture of our blessings (Mark
8:11)?  Or, could we accept the proof already provided within scripture and reap its reward (II Peter 1:17)?

and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me."

"Goodnight Sweet Prince"

Paula Booher

Once in a while heaven drops an angel

Into this world unaware to our view,

That's what happened the day you were born

Sweet prince of chance precious you.

With a heart of gold and a soul to match

This world was too much for your tender calm,

You never understood the wars and misunderstandings

While you prayed to the Father and offered Him alms.

Try as you may you could not silence

All the betrayal outside your door or inside,

The hate you had to witness was too much

Overwhelmed you tried to hide.

Begging to get back into heaven

Time and time again you were denied,

Heartbroken you laid in silent prayer while waiting

Again you tried to hide.

Working with diligence angels surrounded your journey

They knew of your hearts' cries,

Your work here was not finished

Till one day peace was realized.

Your struggle here was over

The noise was finally quieted,

The gates of heaven were opened to you

His arms received you back again.

Dedicated to Larry Dean Bohall who passed away of a massive corinary May 3rd, 2006.

The Hands of Friendship

The Bridge Over Troubled Waters

Paula  Booher

Each time I dialed the phone in the middle of the night

You were the one who answered my call,

With no questions asked you replied,

"What can I do?"

"Let's pray and get on with it all".

Not once was I ever denied your comfort

Your hand of friendship was never shortened or cross,

You never counted it a burden

Or made me feel I was at a loss.

I always knew I would find an ear to hear

And wisdom to follow that kind voice of reasoning’s task,

The moment I let lose, opened up then spoke

Removing all my masks.

I never had to put on airs

Only bring my truths to you,

No fancy clothes or raiment were required

You knew me through and through.

You can see my heart

As if it is as clear as glass,

Scars and all you do not mind

Your tender words come softly lass.

We've shared many disappointments

Seems our celebrations have been few,

Yet I've always known through this life

I could Always count on YOU.

God blessed me with a special sister

And if I Could have Chosen out of all the others,

I Still would have picked you sweet one

Even from all the brothers!

He knew What He was doing

He had the Grander plan,

God didn't make any errors

When He made you with His Hand.

I just wanted to write this down for others

So they could read about you too,

I pray they all have someone

Who helps them when they're blue.

I could talk on for hours

You've been there the times I did,

We've laughed till we were weak with exhaustion

Now what was that I said?

You never made me feel stupid

In fact you always made me feel smart,

When others laughed behind my back

You made me feel precious from the start.

You always looked up to me like I was more

When in fact you were the brave one,

It was your faith in me that spurred me on

And through your eyes that "More" I would become.

I wanted you to be proud of me

So the mirror I saw wouldn't break,

It was because of you I took the risk

Your courage I borrowed and did take.

I wrote this poem to say, "Thank You"

And to acknowledge your contribution here,

Once and for all in front of the others

And to let them know you are quite a Dear!

NOTE:

This poem is initially dedicated to my little sister Pauline Jean (Roe) Sherman of 47 years.  It is also dedicated to Glenda Kay Yount my best friend of almost 30 years.  I also dedicate this poem to myself .  To the person I desire to be to others.  Sisters come in blood then they Also come in Spirit.    I have many spiritual sisters.  God has been very Good to grace me with a few Very Special spiritual sisters...Jesus came, preached the gospels, died, and Rose again that we may all be brothers and sisters serving One True God in service with each other.

I was given a vision at 19.  God spoke to me to take His love to the world. My only response to His request.  I will Do whatever You ask of me... I only ask these things...I will Never ask for money And my children must never go through What I went through!  To date God has kept His promises...I pray & strive daily to keep mine asking forgiveness along the way for my shortcomings...In Jesus Name Amen.

In 1998 "Gods Ladies In Disguise Ministries" was birthed.  The same year our last daughter was born and I was forced to leave the job market and go to work fulltime for God.  The best challenge I've ever loved!

"Guiding Angelic Forces"

by

Paula Booher

She works dilegently into the night

By day her hands in sync with her heart,

She is no respector of persons

Each soul is declared her passion from the start.

Honesty and humility are her attributes

Clarity of thought and mind her extended hand,

Her smile a welcome friendship of honor

As she continues to seek out another friend.

Those in need of her kindness

Her strong encouraging words of hope,

The meek, the broken, down trodden

Crushed in search of ways to cope.

To ask her she would receive no ceremony

No award would hang upon her wall,

She is happy to fulfill her calling

Her joy is to accept your call.

Linking others together in kinship

Her gifts too numerous to explore,

Putting aside her own heartaches

She faces the woes outside her door.

This winter rose stands out against the snow

Grand in its alure and beauty,

Pure and strong in driven wind

She'll continue on to serve her duty.

The angels sing her praises

Keeping watch to keep her safely,

By dark of night or light of day

They stand ever bold and stately.
